SHRINES & LITTLE ALTARPIECES
Learn how to slab construct out of clay a small, personal shrine or altarpiece that can hang on the wall or sit on a shelf. Your piece might be a self-portrait, a family treasure just in time for the holidays, or a tribute to a favorite cat or other special memory.
We’ll use slab construction to create a 5–7 inch piece, then add personal details and elements that tell your story. During our three hours together, we’ll also explore adding colorful underglazes to bring your creation to life.
No experience necessary—just bring your imagination and a story to tell!
WHEN: Saturday, December 5

We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges within 7 days of the start date for any reason.
Any refunds issued are subject to a 10% processing fee.
If I need to miss a class due to illness, I will schedule a make-up session.
If you need to miss a class, you are welcome to attend open studio hours for additional practice. Open studio is uninstructed time where you can continue working on what you’ve learned.
