Have you ever wanted to try throwing on the potter’s wheel? Do you want to improve your skills? Do you know how to throw, but want to learn a special form or learn how to center a larger piece of clay? Maybe develop your aesthetic and define your sense of style? This would be a fun experience for you or to do with a couple of friends. This session is tailored to your experience and what you would like to learn. You can probably make 2 to 3 pieces during our time together. I will trim, bisque and glaze fire them for you. You can either pick them up or have them shipped to you for the cost of shipping. During our 2.5 hour period, I will do a demonstration and you will have 1 hour of supervision on the wheel. The clean up will take about 15-20 minutes. We will also discuss possible glaze options.
$145 per person (includes instruction, materials, firings, me trimming and glazing your piece making it look sweet!!)
Minimum 2 people/ maximum 5
I will apply a 10% discount for a group of 4
You can expect them to be completely finished in 3-4 weeks. Pick up is an option or I can ship them to you for the cost of shipping and materials.
