This is going to be a really fun class where you will learn how to turn an image into a ceramic puzzle piece/ mosaic, which can be mounted on wood, made into a backsplash, table top or put outdoors. Your image can be from a photo, painting, or series of images. After the tiles are glaze fired, I will teach you how to grout them if you opt to put them on a board. The size range can be 15”x15” or 15”x18”. Or what best suits your design, whether it’s horizontal or vertical.
This class will meet 4 times and you are welcome to come into the studio to work on your piece during the 4 weeks. Class will meet on Fridays from 4-7pm on 8/8, 8/15, 8/22, 8/29 Clay, and a variety of glazes will be provided.
